The GBS squad mourns a tough UK men’s basketball loss but has plenty of beverages to enjoy and review in Episode 55. We talk a bit about hockey and baseball, and much of this episode is focused on the men’s NCAA basketball tournament. We pick the ultimate tournament playlist, consider why student athletes are interviewed post-game, debate how to define a Cinderella team, and ponder if you should want the team that defeated your team to go all the way. Sorry we negelected to post last week…blame Spring Break.  We’re back this week though with an all new episode.

Celebrate March Madness with us as we talk all things tournament-related, including upsets, commercials, our Final Four picks for the men’s tournament, and yes, the Kentucky Sports Radio video that went viral. We recognize UK Hoops for a great season despite many obstacles. We debate whether the Sweet Sixteen should be re-seeded and the ramifications for that. In a 100% gluten-free episode, the GBS squad selects the first round of inductees to the GBS Fictional Sports Team Hall of Fame with the help of new friends from Lemons Mill Brewery. This is quite possibly the most irreverent, innuendo-laden, laugh-filled episode we’ve ever done. In fact, we’re not sure you’ll actually hear the show from all the laughs. How fitting that it is our episode #52!
